What makes an Arty Frame?
Is there anything unique about an Arty frame (talking about the 1914-1918 Imperials) that distinguishes such a frame from any other frame of the same time period?
Or are the only unique parts the barrel/extension with sight, and the rear toggle? Thx -- Dan |
Dan,
There are no features which allow one to differentiate between a P-08 frame and an LP-08 frame. On the LP-08 reciever, don't forget the cut at the reciever front for the rear sight. This applies to DWM Lugers; Erfurt Lugers had the cut on all guns after 1917, but only made LP-08 in 1914. --Dwight |
Thanks Dwight! Tomorrow I'll post the reason I asked. ;)
