Simpson's has them new for $ 100 :

I bought mine from the Simpson shop in person...it has the dust cover and is brown leather covered as well and signed by the author...mine is a 1st. edition as well.

Anyone know if the 1 of 50 story is true or just "salesmanship" run amok...???

Why is the Revshop copy so pricey...???

I believe the 50 copies may be correct. They are individually hand numbered and signed by the author. The numbered copies are bound in leather and did not have a dust jacket. I got my copy #3 directly from Gene Bender, personalized and signed by Gene on 14 June 1993. There is only one edition, but it came in standard and leatherbound versions.

I have a leather bond, signed copy also. I don't see which copy number it is. Were only the first few copies numbered?

Richard,

Make sure that it is actually leather bound. Mine is signed but not numbered, and is not leather.
