Moving to Charleston SC

Hi All,

We have the house up for sale& we will be moving to the Charleston -Summerville area with luck.

Can any of the members here tell me about the ranges in the area.

We know NO ONE in the area that are shooters or collectors.
.
Any help will be welcome.

Please PM me.

Thanks,
broomhandle

Broomhandle,

The PM button does not seem to be working this evening. I live in Savannah (I see you are in Augusta). I don't know about Charleston itself but there are two commercial ranges in southern SC not far from here: one is in Ridgeway, the other is outside of Hardeeville. As you probably know, in Georgia there are a number of public ranges managed by the Department of Natural Resources and I suspect the same is true in SC. I would call the SC DNR and ask them about ranges. Also, there is a skeet club at Charleston Air Force Base, next to the airport. Visit the club on their "public access" day and ask around. By the way I also shoot a broom. KFS

Hi Karl,

Thanks for the reply.
I sent you a PM.

Gee! It looks like there are only a few of us in the South east.

Be well,
broom
