Great photography, Pete! I am impressed. I love reflections.

One of my educators was asked by Motor Trend magazine to sketch the 1980 Corvette for a 1975 edition of the magazine. he told them he had no clue, but they didn't care. He went ahead with the sketches and drew a gorgeous, leggy model behind the car's sketch. However, in the reflection on the car, she was totally nude! The magazine never caught it and it went into print for a record month in sales at the magazine.

Hi Jack...

Cannot take credit for the photo image...other than finding it through a Google Image search...:D

Yeah, but who in his right mind would try to chamber a 9x23mm round in his 9x19 parabellum luger (check out the proportions of the casings), and with a 90 gr. bullet to boot (bullet shape matches exactly to some 90 grainers I tried out a few years ago- 115 and 123 grainers are more pointed)?

But not as nice as this one, found on page 7 in the same search;)

Morgan,

Nice image, it appears that it was done by someone who never saw one before, I'm usually getting nervous whem my toggle opens like that :)

Pete, I believe that your photo is probably of one of John Martz's 38 Super lugers, and probably not computer generated, just by one of the artistic photogs at Guns & Ammo. TH

Naw, it's a computer generated image. There are too many flaws in the details of the gun, and the reflections are typical of those created by graphics software. Check out the bases of the cartridges, they are flat on the bottom where they touch the reflection.

Mmm.. smells computer generated to me as well. At work, we use a 3D software to create machined parts. It's not that difficult to create a 3D Luger if you know the software.. Standard effects in such programs are light angle, reflection and different surface
