Baby Luger

As some of you know i've been talking about building a Baby, I got a short barrel from Sam that was shorter than the baby luger barrel and screwed it on the assortment of parts I had collected up and really liked the looks of it with the full size grips. I took it out and shot it this morning and I love it like it is. I am gonna leave this one like it is and start over on a baby so if anybody has a donor frame they want to sell let me know. My real question is I have renumbered all the parts to match the SN on this pistol but I in no way intend to defraud anyone with this action I just wanted it to match. It has a 1.5 " barrel so it has no appearance of being real but I am worried that the renumbering of the parts may be unethical. What do yall think. Thanks clint

Clint, the way I see it is it's your pistol, it's not illegal, you should do whatever makes you happy, I doubt that there is much of a market for an all matching phony Luger anyway, other than a curiosity.

IMHO It would only become unethical if you try to represent it as an original matching piece when you sell it.
