luger part seller ok?
I have been dealing with a person calling himself lugerman, He is very fast to send you a paypal request for money, but will not answer your emails asking if he is sending parts.
I ordered a small part from him and if he answers an email after several requests for updates, he makes an excuse as to why he has not got around to sending the part. Is he ok? or has others had problems with this guy. I see on ebay he has a couple of people mad for not answering emails and not recieving parts also. |
Hopefully, no one will confuse me (lugerdoc) with this guy. TH

Stick with Lugerdoc above....a far less stressful, very honest man to deal with.
|
Howard, I couldn't agree more!!!!:)

In the small Luger collecting fraturnity we deal in, it is important to know who you are dealing with. Almost any indication that Lugerman is not dedicated to his business is enough for me to stay away.
Lugerdoc, Tom Heller, has always been Johnny on the spot with whatever I have inquired about, friendly, knowledgable and quick to ship as well as reasonably priced. Jerry Burney |
Believe his name is "Eugene" and has this web site :
http://www.lugerman.com/ I had the opportunity to see one of his recent $ 300 luger refinish jobs at the last SE NAPCA event last August...might be best to save the $ 300... |
Save the 300 clams and the Luger!
Pete, Thanks very much for your take on the 1929 Swiss Bern. That's the one pistol (Swiss) I know next to nothing about. I should travel to your house for a weekend tutorial! The shop wanted $3000.00 I appreciate it. Jerry Burney |
You're welcome, Jerry...glad I could help...
An asking price of $ 3000 for a run-of-the-mill military M1929 is just out of line...that might be a good price for one of the limited-issued commercial M1929's...especially with red plastic. |
Thanks guys, for the nice comment. I'll continue to do my best for you, but since the luger imports dried up, parts are geting hard to find. Lugerdoc.

I sent this guy a MO for a Luger frame over a year ago and never received it or my money back. He ignored my emails. This was before he started posting so heavily on ebay and Gunbroker and started his website. I guess my frame ended up in one of his "baby's". :grr:
|
Hugh Why put up with that crap, I would make a appearance on his doorstep just for principals sake. clint
|
I just took a quick look at his site and found something very interesting. The link for the history of the Luger takes you to this forum.

Really you should beat the [EDITED BY ADMIN-JS for Forum Decorum violation] off this guy in the forums if he cheated you.
|
Hugh, if you sent him a Money Order through the U.S. Mail, his reaction as described by you is considered to be MAIL FRAUD by the USPS... Contact a Postal Inspector...
|
More on the story---It was so long ago that I forgot who he was and bought two more frames from him a couple of months ago. Got both of them and they were as described in the auction.
|
Ed I PM'd you his phone number from a search.

I bought an excellent pair of grips from this dealer at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I found that they were Erfurt when I received them. Not the seller's fault; so I just kept them. One day I'll sell them on eBay for a profit.

I have purchase a set of original grips from "Lugerman" and yes he sometimes will not answer emails promptly, but the grips were real nice and I received then in a few days. He is in Pennsylvania not too far from me and we talked on the phone. He seems ok to me and I like the $300 refinish jobs he does. He said takes about 4-6 weeks for a restoration, but for added 50 bucks, he will deliver in 2 weeks.
