Luger Meet at NRA Range
Reminder to all in the Washington DC area, The unformed Northern VA chapter of the Forum will be meeting at the NRA range on Monday, July 23 at 11 AM. The range is located at 11250 Waples Mill Rd. Assuming you 're coming via I-66, take exit 57A on to Route 50 going East. Take a left at the first traffic light you come to, that's Waples Mill. Drive about a mile, the NRA HQ will be on your right. Take an immediate left and follow the "path" down to the range facility. Range time is $12 an hour for NRA members, $15 for non-members. ( Come-on you all should be members ) If no one is waiting, you can contine to shoot - Mondays are usually the best time to get unlimited range time. If it is your first visit to the Range, you'll need to pass a written safety test. Should take about 20 mins. The Range has most calibers of ammo for sale to include 9mm, but it will cost you $2-3 more a box than in the local gun shops. By the way, The NRA is the only indoor one in the area that I know of that will let you shoot long guns. Hope to see you there.
