Mauser Parabellum date of mfgr
 

Can anyone tell me what year my Parabellum was built? Serial # is 11.0061XX.

Actually I have a data base of the serial number related to the 7.65 therefore I cannot be really precise for the 9mm.
In any case with your pistol should be quite easy. In fact the Mauser Parabellum in 9mm caliber reached the number 11.007xxx on 1972. Therefore your pistol has been made in the 1971-72 era.
You have to know that the 90% of Mauser Parabellum has been made in the first three years of production.

With the pistol in 7.65 caliber I can be more precise. In fact I can state that the 90% of pistols has been made within 1972.

Thank you, Mauro, for the information. My Parabellum has 3 numbers engraved on the bottom of the toggle piece over the bolt, but they are not the last 3 digits of the serial number, and in fact, are not even close. This is an American market gun, imported by Interarms. There are no other numbers engraved anywhere else on the gun.

I can't seem to get a clear photo of the part in question. If it helps you, though, the serial number of the gun is 11.006131, and the numbers engraved on the toggle are 459.
