Forum problem revisited.

The problem that others were having with intermittent availability is happening with me now. It only does it when at home on my cable modem. My browser is Fire Fox, but have tried IE and same problem. I get a "connection refused" message. Is it me?:(

Herb 12-19-2005 11:20 PM

Me too

I can only connect about 50% of the time. I get nothing and then a popup that says timed out. It ain't working right yet.

Curly1 12-20-2005 08:08 PM

My problem has been I can get to one topic read a post and then when I try to go to another topic it just spins it's wheels, sometimes if I refresh the web page it will come back then starts over with viewing a topic or two then getting hung up.

I have been getting the hangups again over the past 5 or so days happens once or twice while in here. Is it time to change the squirrels. :)

Curly1 02-20-2006 08:53 AM

Same thing.Bill

Here I was blaming my Webtv for the above problems that you have mentioned. I still believe that a high speed modem would help. TH

tudorbug 02-21-2006 10:28 AM

I am using a high spped modem and I have the same problem. I don't beieve it is the modem at the recipient's end.

for me today, it is flying... Was stop and go all day yesterday (well since John swapped the router thingy)...

Revolvr 03-29-2006 10:54 AM

May be coincidence, but I have noticed that when I have time-out problems on this forum, I also typically have time-out problems over at the P38 forums (http://www.p38forum.com/). Are these on the same server?

Yep - both the P38 Forum and this Forum are on the same router.. But, as Ed notes - when one of you e-mailed me last night - I swapped the router over last night - so today should have been better...

;)

Best to all!

John D.
