Holster I.d. And Value

MY 1936 KRIEGHOFF CAME WITH A HOLSTER, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY BELONG TOGETHER AND WHAT THE VALUE IS IF I KEEP THEM TOGETHER.

THE HOLSTER IS BROWN, IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND HAS THE SMALL POUCH AND TOOL UNDER THE FLAP. IT IS MARKED ON THE BACK - ER&K.VOEGELS over KOLN-DEUTZ over 1936. TO THE RIGHT OF THIS IT'S MARKED - W&A234 under AN EAGLE.

THANKYOU
JIMMY B

Jimmy, we really need pictures for value. It could be $50 if the holster has been messed with, and $350 if a nice brown and in nice shape.

BTW, it is considered YELLING on the internet to use all CAPS.

jimmyb,

Your holster is an Army holster; your Krieghoff is most likely a Luftwaffe pistol, so technically they should not be together. A Luft holster will have a small Luft Eagle proof INSIDE against the back of the holster.

Hope this helps,

Tom A
PS..What is the Krieghoff SN?

sorry, didn't mean to YELL.............. outside of surface leather "scratches"
the holster is in very good condition. if my kids get me a camera for christmas i might be able to send pictures.

TOM A

Odd serial number.

:) Your holster sounds like a nice one. Being brown adds to value. A military model, (this would have a small buckel one it. A police woud have a stud on the flap and a loop on the holster). Military about $250.00. Police $300.00.

Jim; a collector friend of mine died, and I bought about fifty holsters last year. My good friend, who is a expert on Lugers helped me with the holsters. I learned about Luger holsters from this experience. I like the holsters!
