Pete,
as an old play writer by the name of Shakespearowski once said... something fishy is going on in Denmark. The pig skin part of the holster is too good in comparision to the strap and the lid. It looks like a put together to me.

In my opinion the holster is 100% correct. I have one quite similar and would like to know who the maker of this one is.

I have to agree with George...This holster looks right as rain. It was not unusual for the Germans to use pebble grain. This is not pig skin. You will notice the stock leather is also pebble grain leather. I cannot say for absolute certain without seeing the back and inside of this holster but I believe so far that it is original and made this way. I've been wrong before...Jerry Burney
