value for a 1920 DWM for Reno Show?
What value can you suggest I place on this 1920 DWM? I plan on taking it to the Reno Show this weekend and maybe trade for something else I like.
It's original and very nice condition. The mag is incorrect and recent mfg. The serial no. is 170 b or k (can't tell which) and appears on the bottom of the barrel and on the frame near bottom of barrel. The last two numbers of the s/n are found on take down lever, bottom of sideplate and rear of toggle assy. The "N" proof marks are the bottom of barrel, left side of frame and left side of toggle assy. The word "Germany" appears on the right side of frame and is a .30 caliber. Any estimates appreciated. I always enjoy saying hello to you guys at the Reno Show. |
John,
When I took an Alphabet DWM to Reno to sell I managed to get $550 value out of it in trade to a dealer. Yours looks like a pretty nice one. Good luck, and enjoy the show. --Dwight |
John, There is not a big demand for 7.65mm 20 commericals as collectables, but this is one variation where the parts, if you have the time and patience to sell them indivdually, are worth more than the pistol as a whole. TH
