Straw?

I seem to remember one of the esteemed members saying there was no straw after a certain year. Among others I have a 1940 Mauser code 42. Should it have straw parts? Other Lugers? Thank

Hi Art,

Strawing on military Lugers ended in 1937. Your 1940 would have blued parts.
