Forum Problem?

Maybe it's just me but for the last week or so I have been getting long load times and page not found when browsing the forums, refresh the page and the forum comes back works, ok for a while and it starts over.

Cookies are turned on.

Anybody else having these problems

Edward Tinker 11-10-2005 11:26 PM

yes, me too and I am on broad-band

tudorbug 11-11-2005 10:52 AM

I have had the same problem. Works fine for a time and then suddenly I cannot open the next page. I then leave and try again on another day. I am also on a broad band connection.

Yes...same problem for more than 1 week...on SBC DSL...

Figured John D. had his hands full on the trip...

Herb 11-11-2005 12:43 PM

Same problem here, DSL too. I often get a 'timed out' message when it won't connect.

Luke 11-11-2005 12:58 PM

Ditto. I am on cable Internet.

Curly1 11-11-2005 05:18 PM

Hey folks,

Yep - I'm aware of the issue, and I've been working on it for about 2 weeks (since I got home). As this is a shared ciruit between this Forum, the P38 forum and one whopping huge Porsche Forum I run/host/admin, the only answer has been to order an incremental circuit to again, double bandwidth. The CLEC should install it in the next week, and back here, I already have the routes and gateways set. The only change you should see is that the site is back to itself speedwise..

Thanks for the feedback, supoprt and your patience!

JD

Kudos John the forum has been running super the last couple of days, much joy, thanx.

John D. 11-15-2005 08:07 PM

Well - 'cept for about 10 minute tonite when I pulled the circuit to try something... Which -- of course - didn't work as expected..!! ;)

Anyway - my thanks for the feedback and encourgement!!!

My best to you!

John D.

You think thats funny John I got a great animated Avatar I want to use but I dont see an option in the profile to add it. What do I have to do to add one on this forum?

John Sabato 11-18-2005 03:15 PM

Go to your profile... go to the Edit Options link... at the bottom of the page there is a link under your current avatar to change it to something else...
