You have a GAP in yer Luger!
The post in the thread about Glock making a Luger in .45 GAP (which I believe to have been tongue in cheek) got me to thinking about that cartridge in a Luger. You who know about these things and firearms design, what do you think, would a .45 GAP be a better fit in a Luger than a regular .45 ACP?
Seems to be one place I wouldn't mind having the stubbier little thing. |
Hub did one last year. Read about it here.
I do think the advantage is you can make it from one Luger not have to weld two together like Martz does. The other 45s are made from Scratch and are expensive. I love the Kustom Ballistics option. If I had one, it would be rust blued and strawed though. http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...&highlight=GAP |
Thanks, yaller boots. That thing has got my jaded old heart beating again. It's beautiful in the extreme.
I like big bores. |
