Guys,

I am missing something, here...?

I think Dean posted a reasonable request in the Ads section...there are many fine original finish Swiss luger out there...also nice Bern reworks...

Pete Ebbink 10-18-2005 03:16 PM

Hi TAC,

Understand your opening post, now...

I did see Dean's request on the Swiss Rifles site...so far no comments or suggestions there...

Maybe the folks on the site you mentioned have been buying from the Big USA boosters and are just not optimistic...?

I think Dean has set enviable (and possibly achievable) goals in his requirements for a nice M1929 Swiss luger...

Cheers

Is he expecting too much, d'ye think?
Well... if the question is whether I'd sell him mine, the answer is no.:D

I think you can actually find this type of items... at least in Switzerland. Now regarding the "no import mark", if it's shipped to the US...

Hello folks. Causing controversy with my post was the last thing on my mind. I admit the list may be a bit pie in the sky but I actually may have found a luger that meets the above criteria although Im never really sure about the finish on Swiss lugers. The arsenal did such a beautiful job of refinishing them and according to a source in Europe most of the Swiss lugers were refinished in CH one or more times. I guess I just like to set my sights high and see what happens. The gun I found should be coming in tomorrow with a holster to boot. I will of course want to inspect it closely to decide whether to keep it or not but if it looks like a keeper then maybe I could send some pics to Pete to post them for all to see. Thanks Pete for the nice comments. You have been very kind to me since I first joined the site and I appreciate it. May you all find the dream luger you always wanted !

Kind regards to all !

Dean

Thanks, Dean !

Will be happy to post-up photos for you. Send them to pebbink@pacbell.net and I will start a thread in your name in the Swiss section.

Do not worry about your jpeg file size. I can deal with resizing on my end...

Resizing a Swiss Luger, can't you take something else to do that to ??

Thanks,
Guisan.;)
