Nice Rig and Nice photos ... thanks for sharing.

Ed, Yes! A very nice Imperial Navy rig! Rare to see these complete and in such condition. The strap is particularly interesting. Are those the original brass/black enamel paint adjusting studs? This would be the top of any Navy collection...Jerry Burney

All original parts and features on stock and holster...I still have to research the pistol since I am very unfamiliar with these...seems to be fine though and aside from a sticking safety I've found nothing wrong (can't see a number inside grips though)...and it needs a correct magazine.

Ed Hicks,
very nice assembly. Your navy is a 1st issue altered 1906 navy. Are you sure that this is a commercial navy? From the glare on the pictures, I can't see any proof markings on the gun. I didn't know that the commercial navies were ever altered. I don't think that the stocks on a commercial navies would have a navy dockyard stamp on the washer on the side. Does the serial number on the attaching iron match the serial number on the gun? Does your magazine have a matching serial number on it? I don't think that the commercial navies put serial numbers on the magazines. Your pictures are loading slow on my computer, so I will take a closer look after I post this message.

Aside from my comments, the individual pieces look pretty nice. Original navy stocks are a hard find and so are good navy 1906's.

Ed Hicks,
I just reviewed your pictures again. The marks on the thumb safety could very well be 'GESICHERT' and not a ground off 'GESICHERT' which would make your navy a 1st issue UNALTERED. Which is proper for a commercial navy. That makes me wrong on that point. Sorry.

Darn it, the serial number on your stock doesn't match any of the serial numbers on any of my navies. :(
