Lugerholsterrepair in Yuma!

Gentlemen, For those of you who might want to track me down for holster repair or the money I owe you...I will be holed up in Yuma AZ for the next 6 or 7 months. My address and current phone # is displayed on my posts so let me know if I can be of any assistance. Thanks, Jerry Burney

Well, I am here and not in the Yuma Prison! Yet! Really beautiful here this time of year, snowed 5 inches at my CO home the night after I left...Timing is everything!
Patrice, My cat is fine except he truly is in prison, in CO we let them roam free...Here we cannot let them out fearing an old fart will put a pellet into them.

Don't you also have to worry about coyotes getting your cats in AZ Jerry?

John, I thought you were going under deep cover? Glad to see your still on the Forum...

Yes, Coyotes are a concern both places actually. They have become quite urban but I see less of them here in AZ than CO. This Summer I had several in my meadow twice. I keep a Ruger .223 Ranch Rifle handy to shoot over their heads. The passing crack! seems to make them slink away pretty rapidly.
I am more afraid of oldtimers here...many don't like cats anyway and my big Boy likes to sit beneath bird feeders and look...As is the case with many things, humans are more dangerous than most things.

Jerry, you need to lower your sights just a bit!

Ron Smith 10-11-2005 06:35 PM

Jerry,

See if you can locate some 12 ga. air burst shells. I can assure you they won't slink.

I'm not a firm believer in killing something that I won't eat.

Howard, After two years of killing humans (67-68) I decided not to actively kill anything ever again. I won't even step on an ant if he is not in my house. Flies and mosquitoes are an exception. i'm not a nut...I just like to live and let live. Coyotes have their place but not at my house! Jerry Burney

Jerry, " Just what it is..."

lugerholsterrepair 10-11-2005 07:34 PM

Ron, That's a good idea except that they are a pretty extreme fire hazard. I have several acres of grass meadow and would hate to set it afire. That's generally where the coyotes are! Jerry Burney

Jerry, Never thought of that. You have a point.

Ron
