32 round drum

Hello all,
I do not know alot about these so..... what is a B/N (Bings Toy Company) marked drum? I see alot of them on Gunbroker and wanted to know if they are repo's or the real thing. What is a fair price?

Thank you
Michael:)

"B/N" indicates an item made by Bing in Nurnberg. They were (are) toy makers who produced war materiale for the German government in the first war. In addition to TM08's they made TM08 loaders, Ersatz Pickelhauben, and other sheet metal military goods.

Bing manufactured type I, II, III TM08s. I don't know if anything other than the type II has been reproduced in any form, the only type II repro I know of is the Japper made to go with their toy LP08.

Type IIs and IIIs seem to go for $1000 -$1200.

Type III looks like a Type II but has two concentric rings pressed into the front flat of the drum.
