luger holster????

ok i got this with a Bring back P38. the guy i got it from did not remember if this came with the P-38 or not so he sent it with the pistol anyway.
so is this a Luger holster? it only has one marking in the back.
so what do you think?

It's a Luger holster, WWI period. Looks like it is worth salvaging, don't grease it up.

W2K, Interesting that you used a Russian AK bayonet to hold it open. I had purchased a few like that years ago with no markings, that were said to be of Russian manufacture. TH

This is actually an example of a holster that has been VERY wet. It has shrunk and hardened.You can see the roller buckle is very rusty. Probably only a few parts are salvageable. It can never be restored to what it once was. The stitching will be weak as well. Jerry Burney
