Imperial mag and stock questions
 

What was the original finish on the first issue snail magazine dust cover. I have obtained one that looks to be sand blasted. At least there is not any finish left I can see. Second question. On an original navy stock what was the metal disk made of? Thanks for any info. Jim

Hi Jim,

On the Trommel Mags, the finish was a smooth black enamel. The disks on Navy stocks are found in both steel and a brass/bronze metal.
