.310 Cadet
1.Has anyone got loading data for the .310 Cadet?
STOP LAUGHING YOU LOT, I LIKE THE CADET! :bigbye: |
Tac,
Sorry about not getting back, thanks for the info, I've own a 310 for years and consider them a great little rifle. It's just whenever I go looking for reloading components (particularly projectiles, the 310 works best with heeled projectiles) I get real strange looks from gun dealers around here. I haven't visited the sight a great deal of late as "her indoors" want the B***** house painted! Again thanks.    |
John,
CARTRIDGES OF THE WORLD lists the following loads for the .310 Cadet: 110 gr lead bullet, 11.0 grs IMR 4227 MV 1510 ME 610 110 gr lead bullet, 8.0 grs IMR 2400 MV 1320 ME 465 120 gr lead bullet, factory load MV 1200 ME 385 It also states that most .310 Cadet rifles will accept the 32-20 cartridge without alteration, and that the .005 bullet diameter isn't enough to make any difference in cartridges of this power. |
I've never played with a 310 Cadet. But If it is anything like the 32-20 I will have to keep an eye out for one. I shot a Winchester in that caliber that an uncle had when I was but a nipper, and that was one sweet little rifle.

I have a couple of Winchester '92s, several S&W's and a Colt SA in that caliber. It is one of my favorite cartridges for "plinking" & varmints along with my 30 Lugers.
