holster crook/eBay
This jerk seems to have an unlimited supply of very badly made German Luger holsters he is determined to foist off on the General public as originals. His moxy is amazing...Originals my butt. Stored in a Russian warehouse blah, blah ,blah...Let the buyer beware, tell all your Friends and Email the guy and tell him these are BOGUS! I did but it didn't do any good. Jerry Burney
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...gory=4721&rd=1 There's no end to it! I just noticed he has a p-38 too! God it's awfull.... |
He has been selling them for some time now. He had a 1935 dated holster a few weeks ago that sold for a few hundred dollars (seems like it was 3 or 4 hundred).

I'm going to run a few small Luger items on eBay when I get around to taking pictures, how about if we in our eBay/AA/GB ads mention/reference to Luger Forum, let unknown upcoming collectors in on the site as a place to get some expert advise on items offered for sale....just an idea to spread the good word????
|
There is no prohibition on mentioning the Lugerforum as a source of good advice Howard, but what simply CANNOT happen is that vendors on ebay will never be allowed to use the Lugerforum for officially endorsing the authenticity of their items. That would have too many legal implications for the forum, and it's owner, John D.
Thanks for the idea though... |

Thanks John, I'll back off that idea.
