"What is my friends Luger worth?"
 

We are living in Sweden near Denmark ( 20 minutes ). The P08 probably comes from there when the nazis occupied Denmark. The gun have been in the Swedish policeforces boxes of stolen items. But after many many years they sold it when they want to clean up from old stuff, and my friend bought it.
The condition of the gun is very good. It is made 1940 and have the german eagle and swastika marks. I bealive it is Mauser-made ( nr 42 ).
I have filled the Luger-ID sheet and I have taken some close up photos BUT I don�´t know were to send it.
I attach a arrange photo with some collector stuff.

Kristofer, you'd have to include a lot more information, but of course, there are USA prices and then your prices.

In the USA, a 1940 could be worth $500 US or up to $1200, all depending on how good of condition it is in.

Tumb safety:Red colour "Gesichert"
Describe markings: Please see close up photos. But on the top of the barrel there is a mark with a cirkle with a triangle and a T inside. On the close up photos you could see a distinkt nazi eagle with swastika.
Barrel:97mm
Extractor markings:"Geladen"
Magazine in bakelit or plastic, markings:P08 and a eagle with number 37
Remaining bluing 97%
Bore 95%
Grips 85%(only small marks)
All small parts have the matching number of 55 ( 455 on some bigger parts ).
The chamber and so on have a red plumb colour the barrel ordinary bluing.

Ps/Is it possible to export the P08 to USA ?/Ds

Kojac, Your 1940/42 PO8 appears to have had a Finnish made Tikkakoski Arsenal made barrel installed. This luger would be worth more in the US, if Finnish Army "SA" marked, otherwise your friend has a mismatched shooter and probably not worth the fees and paper work necessary to legally get it into the US.
