CZ38 question
 

I am looking at a CZ38 pistol, it is SA (Finnish) marked. I have seen several of these marked this way. I heard the Germans were not fond of the CZ38 and handed these over th their allies, hence the SA markings. is this accurate? Thanks very much

That is possible.

However, the Finns were desperate for weapons. They begged, borrowwed, and purchased whatever they could get their hands on.

Hence, the wide variety of weapons that they used.

I know a fellow gun club member who is selling off some of his pistols. He has a SA marked CZ38 in around 98% condition with a black CZ38, SA stamped, holster which is also in excellent condition. Two mags, one SA stamped and one unmarked. He wants $2400 for the rig. It's very nice and I would like to have it but for that kind of money you could buy a lot of other pretty nice pistols. Anyone have a comment on the value of such a rig?
