HÃ?Â¥kan's lugers are real craftsmanship. But his photography skills just about matches his knowledge of guns. I am totally mezmorized by his carbine and the dark grey background. As an Imperial Luger era collector though, I wonder why HÃ?Â¥kan miter blued parts that that would normally be strawed on Imperial era Luger? Then, why did he straw the grip screws on one of the guns? This is not ment as criticism of the quality but rather as an esthetic art comment. I do not want to hurt HÃ?Â¥kans feelings because I really admire the work he has done. This is for discussion purposes only.

Hi Big norm

My photograpic skills are not very good and I have therefor had a lot of guns photographed by a proffesional photographer.

Our Lugerconversions is NEVER meant too look like originalpistols, we never use features on them that ever can be used as gain to sell them as fakings.

So therefor we dont care what is original on the particular model.

The strawing we do is often on the warm side and get much darker and maybe bluer than originals.

My feelings are in no way hurt by your comments and I am very glad that you commented those pistols.

All those pistols are built as competition guns and used as competitionguns.

All mine bullseye and PPC and filedshooting is done with converted Luger pistols and those guns have helped me to archive much higher results than I did before with my custom 1911 and my Custom SIG P210.

Your pictures are wonderfull! To me they show the differences between rebuilding, replicas, and counterfiting. The first two are making something that someone wants and knows it is not original and the third is trying to fool people. You are obviously a talented machinist and honest person.
