Hugh Clark repair

I have an arty without matching grips. The grip on the right was all smoothed out and needed to be replaced. This was on my first gun which is posted under the artillery section. Hugh Clark was referred to me by many of you on the forum and he certainly treated me right. He replaced the right grip with an original grip and then did some work on them so they both would match. He did a "beautiful" job! I'll attach some photos so you can take a peek at them. The light is a little different for each photo but believe me, they are a perfect match.

It's too bad I only have the one gun for now. In the future, it will be easier looking at Lugers. If the grips are not quite right, I'll know where they can be fixed.

Thank you Hugh! Awesome job!

Steve

Steve,

We have several top-notch craftsmen on the forum. Hugh is certainly one of them. He has done several jobs for me, all near-perfect.

I just received a set of grips Hugh did for me and it was a miraculous transformation from junk to mint. If you need your grips improved he's fast and inexpensive. Jerry Burney

Hugh thinnned and re-checkered two pairs of grips for my Interarms Mauser Parabellums and did a fantastic job. They went from feeling like I was holding a 2x4 to where they now feel and handle like real lugers. Hugh is certainly a master craftsman!!!!

The right grip on my pistol is worn pretty smooth, how much would it cost to get my old grips recheckered?

Price to rechecker a pair of grips at present is $55 including return 1st class $200 insured mail. If you want return by priority, add $3. If you want more insurance, add $1/$100 extra. :bigbye:
