Dumb question
I have a sack full of after market grips from variuos sources. Not one pair of them will fit a Luger. Most of them are so far off as to be ludicrous. How come? It's not as if Lugers are so rare they couldn't lay hands on one for measurements.

Grips
Dear Noel:
The other night, we discussed the "just good enough" philosophy currently so dominant in this culture. Slop is not only expected, but should be praised!! In fact, I dare you even question slop!?!? In fact, you should consider yourself abnormal if you don't like sloppy work now a days!!! The only grips I have found that even approach originality are the NIL grips. These grips do fit the frame perfectly. These, too, however, are not checkered like the originals were and must be re-checkered before they really represent an accurate recreation of the original part. Thank heaven we at least have a good base (the NIL grips) to work with!!! Sieger |
The sloppy work ethic is: A job not worth doing is not worth doing right.
