Front sight glue?
Hi,
What's the best way to keep my front sight from sliding/falling off? Thanks, Mark |
I guess we're talking Lugers here, on the barrel at the base where the sight slides in, with a sharp punch, crater it several times, try sliding the sight in, if it get good and tight, finish drifting it the rest of the way in, if still loose you may need another creater ot two...try it. Here and only here is also where I would red lock tight, never on a threaded screw or such. If I have confussed you, let me know, and I'll see what I can do to help.

Hi,
I'm refering to a Luger P-08. I think I understand what you mean, but I'm afraid to attempt it--except for the Loc-tite part (ha). Thanks, Mark |

Mark,
I have used simple metal epoxy on my 9" shooter luger. It holds but can be broken to make sight adjustments if you need to later with a proper sight adjustment mandrel. Regards, Pete...:typing: |
Thanks... Since Epoxy can be broken, I'll probably go that route.
