The same guy is bidding on her WW1 Luger mag....Wonder who he is? It's also at the top of the $$$ bid. Guess people have more money out there than I thought...Jerry Burney

Jerry.......It is getting insane out there, just last week an artillery mag pouch went for 500.+.......... What is an honest collector to do ?????

Leo, I know...I watch it everyday. When you see a bargain you must pounce on it like a cat on a mouse.

Or, like me you could get another job to pay for Luger goodies. I just wonder if this is a serious bid...There are finer holsters listed than this one for much less money. 42 dlg is not at all rare.

Folks,

I believe you will see minty WWII era holsters inch up to $5-600 before end of year. Imperial Navy holsters are already at $2K for exc examples.

Its Econ 101: a lot of $$ chasing few pieces.

Tom, I guess a lot of guys have pulled out of the stock market and are investing in Luger stuff. Makes a poor boy like me cry.

Hey I'm looking for a good early SA dagger....Got any you want to sell?

W.W. II police went for $499 a couple days ago. If this keeps up, I'll have to put that 1913 Eckart police that you did that little repair on for me in a safe deposit box.

Jerry..............about 2 years ago on a Sunday morning I saw a type one naval holster @ a buy it now price of 500. For and for sure I pounced on it like a cat and for kickers it did not even have to go to you for repaires.
Some you win some you lose. It aint easy......read.....read .....read and ask questions...............it does pay off

Hey guys, they're still out there. Just got this one the other day. It has been lightly polished but most of the white stitching is still visible. I watched this for a week, and didn't see any familiar bidders.

Steve,

Very nice find...I would not have thought to search e-Bay for the term "luga"...;)

SteveM 05-18-2005 08:33 PM

Pete,

I found it searching for holster; but luga is now in my search string, along with every other possible spelling.
