Hugh Clark's Grip Magic
I got my Bulgarian grips back from Hugh on Saturday and thought I would share the marvelous work he does on a set of grips. I had no hope of him getting those dents out and was prepared to settle for just a recheckering job. I was not prepared for what I recieved, here are the results--

Are you sure he didn't slip a new pair of grips in the mail? Those look great!

Herb, Absolutely amazing! Hugh is a real asset to those who wish to improve and restore their grips....I have tried a little checkering for fun. It's not as easy as you might think and I never got any good results myself.
Good work Hugh! Jerry Burney |
Pipeman, that was my first thought when I saw them, they couldn't be the same ones, lol. Jerry, I tried my hand on an old set of Luger grips about a year ago, that's why I sent this set to Hugh.

With a master craftsman around that does work to that standard, Why would you want to do it yourself? I know I couldn't do anything but make fire starters out of a set of old grips. My hats off to you Hugh, you do outstanding work.

I am sure I could do as good a job as Hugh! (okay, I'll charge $20 more, and actually send them to him) :D
