Help!!Holsters- tools

I am trying to tell which tools go in what year holsters, just got several from Wisc source. I also need whatever tool goes in the extra flap in the early police holster lid, made kind of over the regular tool compartment. Are the Police holsters marked substantially different than the army versions??????

Are you talking about a patch flap that secures over top of the existing tool pouch or something sewn over top of the tool pouch itself only larger.

The police holsters are at times unit marked to the police detachment during the weimar era like a regimentally marked imperial although generally a leather stamp, not an ink stamp.

The holster strap is secured different on the police as you are probably aware.

Best bet on the tool issue is to post the markings on your tools and then secure the answer as Mauser was the manufacturer with an abundance of stamped tools.

Imperial tools are crown scriptic letter proofed some bearing the regiment unit, with erfurts having thier own stamp, weimar era used imperial tools with weimar police acceptances.

Simson has the eagle/6 HK the eagle/2 vickers I am not sure of whether they produced a tool

Hope this helps

PJ:
The extra flap over the tool pouch is for a small oval handled metal cleaning rod and extra cleaning patches.

PJ, Since the tools and holsters were made by different manufactures, I doubt that they were originally sent as sets to the clothing depots for issue. My best WAG, is that the tools were sent in large lots and randomly added to the holsters for issue. About the best a collector can do, is to match the acceptance marks, if present on the tool, to the gun he is using it with, but I seriously doubt that they were issued that way. I do have most varieties of loading tools available from unmarked DWMs @25 each, Imperial accepted (Erfurt), most Mauser marked including the scarce E/135 @$100 and a few with Police or Military unit markings @$75 each.
