Charles Kenyon's Treatise on the Luger Pistol

I talked to Ralph Shattuck on the phone this morning, God bless his soul, about this super upcoming book (or books) from Kenyon. This will include lots of excellent photos (by the same photographer as "Multinational Pistol") which are phenomenal. This will be Charlie's life achievement and will supplement his "Luger's at Random" book and may represent the newest found information on the Luger pistol. We are in for one hell of a treat I think! I am told he has a HUGE library of these photos to draw from so the ones included in the book will be phenomenal. Watch for this one, it will be super! Thor

I've been watching for this book for the last ten years. The trouble with a perfectionist, is that he's never satisfied that he's included everything. So, it could be another 10 years.

Charles Kenyon probably represents the most knowledgeable source of information on the Luger. Apparently his new book will be a break with the format of "Luger: The Multi-National Pistol" which contained some of the best Lugers known as well as excellent photography, but had little hard information. Much new information has come to light in the 32 years since his first book was printed.

Guess it's a "must have" then... :) (EOM)
