Back in March I sold an unopened pack of PP08 m.E. at egun, too.
Those were of 1943 manufacture. No, I don't have any more of them. http://www.egunner.de/market/item.php?id=388126 |
Thank You.

a couple of boxes of this is floating around my house... I was told the black bullets were for the MP40. I had about 10 boxes of the unopened '44 dated stuff, but have sold all but this last box

Very, Very nice indeed.
The black ones are iron slack core 'Sintereisenkern' bullets which will reline a luger's barrel pretty quickly indeed. (the box will probably say 'Pistolenpatronen 08 mit S.E.' or something like that). Boxes carried a warning that they were only limitedly useable in the P08. |
They shoot really well in my artillery tho. Years ago, I bought like 500 rounds from a guy in Richland, WA, and I did shoot them all through either my S&W 39 or my Arty... {{you know, when I was young and stupid}}

I've had my moments too Ed, sadly, we eventually get over the "young" part. The other identifier is somewhat more persistent.
