Warhawk Air Museum Visit with Ed

We had a special visitor at the museum last Thurs. Ed happened to be working in the area and stopped by for a brief tour and some "show and tell", pistol wise that is. I was especially pleased to show him the Hi Power rig I was fortunate enough to win in the raffle.

We had a short but informative (for me anyway) chat over a few brews and I'll be looking forward to continuing the conversation some day.

If I did this right, this should be Ed and Mike next to our P40N which was restored in 1985 and flies regularly.

Mike (one of the guys I work with) and I had a heck of a nice visit. Al is a very nice guy, and he has some nice guns too :)

The museum is a really nice one. They have 3 or 4 WW2 planes and a bi-plane, then tons of exhibits of local people WW2 items brought back. A baby Nambu, NCO Jap. sword, older Samuri (sp) sword, Police WW1 / Nazi era Luger, and lots of uniforms. Well worth the trip.
