Doesnt have dished toggles, looks like a fat barrel not a standared 4 & 3/4" 30 Luger, looks like the sideplate is not even installed right! Bluing on barrel doesnt match the rest of the gun, could have some cold blue on it. The magazine bottom doesnt look correct, looks like some kind of replacement. Looks more like a 1920 DWM Commercial to me. A true 1900 would have a strawed toggle lock, a strawed extractor...oh brother!!!

Type 1 safety?!!...How about Type 3! A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. This is pretty dangerous! The vertical Crown/N puts Thor right on the mark - 1920 DWM Commercial.

Thor and Ron beat me to it. They must not have had kitchen duty tonite.

Looks a bit 1914ish, for a 1900.

Not to mention that the seller wants to start the bidding at $1200.00 ! ! ! !

Stock lug makes it at least a 1914 and most likely a 1920.

I am for the 1920 commercial. I think the "type 1 safety" refers to the chipped grip. THe grip safety is cunningly consealed on this model.

I know, it was a bit too obvious, but it was fun to go look :D

... and then there's the trigger guard ...

Ponyman 03-19-2005 02:16 PM

And still another "1900" with non-dished toggle knobs and a barrel that doesn't look more than 4"...
