Some general info please.
 

Got my First Luger and am well pleased with it.
Looking for some info on it now.
It is a 1940 marked Mauser Serial number 27XXf
IF any one has any production info or the like I would be most
grateful.

Hi Larry, Welcome to the Luger Forum. Your Luger, 1940 S/N 27XXf, was one of about 136,000 produced buy Mauser for the Military in 1940. Your Luger was completed in about May of that year. Beyond this information, little else is known because of the destruction of records. Hope this helps!
