Repro Stock
Has anyone purchased or seen the repro boards that SARCO is selling? Do they latch and fit right?
Thanks! Mark |
You will probably have to do some grinding on the stock iron or the lug (if you so choose). The last Sarco stock I bought was made of maple so that is not correct but they are cheap.
If you want a stock for shooting buy a Sarco job and fit it to your pistol. If you want a stock for shooting that will appreciate, buy an original or a Finn. The latter will cost you one to three hundred dollars more but you can recover your investment. |
George,
Thanks for the information and advise. I have an original stock for my 1916 Artillery but don't like taking it out because of the attached leather straps. Been shooting it with a parts gun. A repro will work great and I don't have to worry about throwing it in the back of my jeep. Mark |
