1900 Swiss with a few bits & pieces

I took a snap shot of my 1900 serial number 781 with a few bits an pieces,

http://forum.lugerforum.com/lfupload/121_2122_1.jpg

Original holster and straps, ammo dated 15:8:1905, brass cleaning kit, grease can, spare mag and original 1900-06 Swiss manual.
Does the photo layout seem familiar somehow?

Regards
Murray.

Hi Murray,

I do not know how I missed your posting...what a lovely luger and holster !!! The other Swiss luger nuts must be sleeping as well...

Congratulations...and thanks for sharing...

A few questions, if you do not mind :

1. Is your luger +/Vogelsang stamped ?

2. Is your luger's magazine feedway relieved or un-cut ?

3. What is the date of your holster ?..it is the nicest one I have seen...I am green with envy...

I wasn't sleeping, just speechless. Such an impressive array kind of takes your breath away.

Judging from the follower button on the spare mag, I woud guess that the frame is relieved.

Thanks Pete,
Yes, it is one of my favourites, Did you note the number 781.
I can't answer all of your questions as I am away from home other to say the gun is +/Vogelsang stamped and Ron is correct about the mag.
The other questions will have to wait until I get home.
Glad you liked it and Ron, thanks for your help with the Borchardt Barring block, I am really pleased that some one from the forum ended up with it.
Regards
Murray.

Hey Murray,

I think I have you beat with my number # 555...but Herr Wood trumps us both with his much earlier M1900...

Niced to see lugers over 104 years old surviving in such great shape.

Hey Murray,

I will check out my Kenyon L-TMP this weekend.

By the way...did you buy your gorgeous holster with the luger ? Or do you have a secret source for the most excellent Swiss leather...?

Murray,
unbelivable! just the holster is very interesting, with the very early snap hooks - never seen before - just heard about!

what is the holster saying on the back?

Thanks for your kind comments guys,
I am away from home at the moment and will let you know what is on the holster next week. I got the holster with the gun.
The other items I have collected mostly locally as with the gun which I found here in New Zealand.
regards
