Lend-lease Luger!"
..
|
Tac,
I don't think you will have any trouble finding a nice shooter in that price range, in fact there are a few listed by the dealers on the links of this site. Is your pal going to inspect the gun on your behalf or are you going to take care of that when you visit? FYI, if you find ever yourself in south Georgia you are welcome to shoot my toys. KFS |
Same deal here, as at Karls.
I do have that 1937 I picked up, its available for "rent" for 2 cents a year, unless you REALLY wanted it. ;) Ed |
Tac your ever get up north be happy to let you shoot just about anything you like
The gunman vermont |
Igg, If Tac gets you anywhere near Pittsburgh Pa. You must call. I am probably the only one on the forum who can offer to let you shoot a 45-2 7/8 in Sharps (repro). You could have used it in Monkton.
|
Tac,
Where in the US are you thinking of visiting? What are you thinking, maybe an annual visit to your gun? There are lots of us spread all over the 3500 mile wide country who have been impressed with your postings and would be happy to welcome you and figure out how to help your itchy trigger finger. |
Hey, I only got the one Luger. But if you make it down to Kentucky, you can pop a few through it. Might even have another gun or two you could try out.
|
As my son is fond of saying "hey, you have a garage for me to stay in"!! (he is over in the sandbox, so I am sure he can sleep anywhere, as I am sure you can too if need be).
But, I bet, at least for a couple of days, I'd let you sleep in the "spare" bedroom, the one with the old dutch bed :) |
Tac,
I am also in Oregon. When you make it out this way, drop me a line and I have a few that you can shoot also. Steve |
Tac,
You've made a good choice. Oregon moss keeps the wrinkles away. In five weeks, spring flowers will be bursting. It is beautiful!! A bit damp, but not bad. Be sure to take a ride up the Columbia River highway. Ron |
Terry,
Part of the Portland, Oregon contingent here. Let us all know when you are here and ready to fire, it would be an honor and a pleasure to meet you, and my shootin' irons are yours. --Dwight |
Tac,
You should check on the Oregon laws on gun ownership. I know a Canadian who took the FL CCW training from a local sheriff and got the permit after a fairly short residence. I think it was 30-60 days. He then could buy his own gun but keeps it here in a bank safe deposit box whenever he returns to Kanada. |
at long last it has arrived:roflmao:
Woo Hoo Mr. T, we going to have v much fun.. Your Mericun Brother L |
MrLWJ
Maybe you should take it out for a "test drive" before Tac arrives! :) Have Fun! Scott |

Tac,
too bad that you can't make it out to the Reno gun show. I am sure that you presence would attract an even bigger crowd than it already does. Big Norm:cheers: |
Have a good vacation Tac, you deserve it. Anyone want to make a donation for Tac's ammmo? I'd hate for him to visit all the way from the UK to shoot his gun and then be subjected to the insult of having to buy ammo for it. Not as if he gets to do this as often as we do. Mr LWJ, please im me an address. Get the best deal on some 9mmm for Tac.
rk |
No worries Roadkill, I stocked up on Wally ammo weeks ago, we can burn a few hundred rounds in 9mm and anther few hundred in .45 ACP, not to mention the .44 Mag and .22.
I promise I will make sure he has a fine time. Larry |
