Hugh Clark and my barrel story...
Well, here is a quote;
Quote:
Then the 8 inch barrel I picked out, the sight fell off, and then Hugh contacted Tom Heller, who had a barrel and Tom sent it to him!! Jeez, this "project" of mine was a royal pain, but HUGH just chugged along! Hats off to him, and once I am home, will show a picture of the receiver and frame together! :) THANKS HUGH!! Ed |

Ed,
Hugh replaced a barrel for me as well and did a great job. Nice looking gun but I believe that is a 6" barrel and not an 8". I notice the grip safety and relieved sear bar, what model is the gun? My only criticism is that the magazine base does not match the grips. I'll bet that Tom Heller can provide a base with the right color. KFS |
well, the receiver is a 1920, while the frame is a Dutch frame. The original barrel is about shot out, and I thought I'd have fun with it.
The 8 inch barrel I was going to get, did not work out, so I got a 6 inch original 30 Luger from Tom. The base is one that my friend ViggoG made for me. So it doesn't matter if it matches or not ;) (although I picked the color). |
