New Mexico Outfit...

http://hia.apachego.com/

That has a regimentally marked Erfurt Arty...

Anyone know the folks at this NM outfit...???

I've been trying to get them to return my emails without any luck for 2-3 weeks. Jim

The s/42 on the page with capture papers would be a good 1st luger for someone at $600.00.

I don't understand these people that put up a webpage with email contact information, then don't respond. What is the point? Kinda like bringing your gun to the range and leaving the ammo at home.

Anytime my emails are not returned in a couple of days. (I RUN FROM FRIGHT)

Holidays...???

Good cautionary note, Richie...

But...maybe these folks are just away for the Holidays...

I suspect a few emails went in about that unit-marked Erfurt Arty...
;)

Pete...:typing:

The S42 might be a great restoration effort for Thor! I just sent an email as well.

Hi Pete,
I have not heard of these folks before. They may frequent the gun shows up in Albuquerque. The last time I went there were several small timers from around the state that had tables set up. Judging from the PO box I imagine this is run from their home. I do like the S/42.

Strider, you almost have the correct saying, but it is actually;

Unless made or rearsenaled in the 20's then it is just used... :D :roflmao: :D

Hi Ed, that was great. I like it. :roflmao: I can almost go along with it, almost. You should add that to you signature.
Sid.

Like Butch and Sundance used to say "Who are those guys?" Never heard of them. S/42 has potential but what about the front of the ejector, is that light refraction or corrision? Anyway an easy fix.

They answered my email, and I had Thor in mind when I mailed, saying that he (his name may have been Dick) received a number of emails on the S42 and that a check was enroute in payment. He promised that he would get back to me if his arrangement of sale did not go thru.

I think we can mark this pistol as sold, perhaps as a result of Pete's initiation of this thread.

I did not inquire about the unit marked 1914 Erfurt artillery (142.R.10.5) as the price seemed too high given the condition.

A nice site to view, I admit.

David
