Are my eyes correct?
Hello fellows,
I was looking at the Reeseâ??s book â??Luger Tipsâ?. In particular I was reading the chapter related to the Mauser Parabellum. My interest was captured by the attached picture. I guess that Mr. Reese was looking at some Bulgarian commemoratives made in 1975. In fact, if you look at the picture with attention, you can see that the toggle is marked with the gold DWM monogram instead of the common Mauser Original, the rear part of the toggle link is worked as the â??00 and the barrel is a slim .30 Luger. The only Mauser Parabellum Commemorative with this configuration is the Bulgarian model. Are my eyes correct? Let me know. Mauro, As best I can tell from your photo (the glare from Mike's head makes it difficult) you are correct. F.Allen shows two other models with the DWM logo and the "dished" toggles (the AE and the Cartridge Counter Commemeratives) but these both have 9x100mm barrels. I'm hoping to receive your check soon, to send you one of these books. Tom
