One for John H.
I've sent my bride a picture of your lighting set up, as a hint. Let's see what santa brings. In the mean time, photos are sub standard, I apologize. Ser# 24212 shipped to SIG CORPS DEF 06/03/1915.

Yes siree, thats my kinda 1911. Thanks for the photo.....

John H: Everything is unquestionably correct for a 1913 vintage, including the Springfield research paperwork, about 85% original bluing... but, the keyhole mag is entirely blued, not two tone, as with the others I've had in the past. I'm not finding anything, even in Harrison's book, that would lead me to believe this can be correct?

"The two-tone mags were used from 1912 to 1943 according to Clawson's Collector's Guide 3rd. edition."
