Question "How come the time is wrong?"

The "system time" is set to Eastern Time - rather than GMT. Therefore, if you want the time to display correctly for your location - choose the time OFF SET from Eastern US Time in your profile, rather then GMT (yea, I need to reprogram that drop down menu - I know...)

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 10:24 AM.
