I believe Jerry Burney may make them.

You should also check our "sister" website and ask there...

If anyone would know where to get them, they would.

Jay, Sorry to say I do not make reproduction P-38 Lanyards. I re searched the Luger Lanyard for many years and was able to find enough specs to reproduce those and have probably made and sold a hundred or so.
The real problem with the P-38 lanyard is not in it's specifications but in the availability of the proper materials to make it. The strap is made of a thick OD colored woven material that I have not been able to locate anywhere. During the era these were manufactured the material was not synthetic and as such, anything that is a natural fiber is scarce in today's market to say the least. Were this strapping available it would be a simple matter to replicate this scarce, expensive and desirable Lanyard. This is the only drawback I have found to frustrate this project.
I have noticed quite a few original P-38 Lanyards for sale on eBay from time to time and they go for several hundred dollars. Jerry Burney

Jay, Thanks but at present I have only the parts ready to put together, no completed lanyards.

I am recovering from a full hip replacement surgery and even though I can get around pretty good I am prohibited from bending at the waist past 90 degrees to pick up anything off the floor. Since most of my workshop involves at least some of my parts and pieces being on the floor it is difficult to access what I need for a little while longer.

I am hoping my full recovery is emminant and I will be back at work soon.

To answer your question, I sell the Cavalry Luger Lanyard for $65.00.It is quite long and goes over the shoulder to the pistol in the holster. The Stosstrup style is shorter and hangs the pistol at about waist height, worn around the neck and is the same price.

Thanks Pete, It's an uphill struggle but must be done....Thanks. Jerry Burney

I have an original German issue P38 lanyard, they came in two styles a leather version which I have never seen and a woven version. If you email me I can send you a selection of pictures with detail.
The few that are making it to ebay are coming out of captured German stocks in Norway, I will also put you in contact with the person who I purchased my lanyard from.
Regards,
Hessian
