Old Beretta 950 Minix

Hey all,
I have a chance on buying an old Beretta .22 short 950 Minix. It's all original w/box,manual.etc. Has no safety which tells it's age. Looks in great shape.
Should I go for it? He want's to trade for my Walther PP 7.65 from the 1950's. Sounds like an even as far as total value goes. Has some spare parts, too aquired from a show. Will also throw in a .22lr threaded barrel for the swap.
What do ya think?

Your call, but I wouldn't trade a Walther PP for a Minx even with spare parts.

The Walther beats the Beretta everywhere...

Shooting: Minx has ridiculous sights, a PP can shoot...

Collecting: Who collects little Beretta's...

Carry: Minx isnt even good to shoot a mouse in a corner, a 7.65mm properly loaded can be practical for those light carry days...

By the way, I have a couple of PP/PPK series...and a 950B in 6.35mm...

Your call!

Hey Jim,
Thanks for reply and advice. My PP is one of those Centerfire Walther Manurhins that went for approx $270, so I didn't spend a ton on it. That's why I'm considering the trade and the value is about equal.
Just like that little Minix and I have a couple of Walthers' already.

Hey Kidvett,
Thanks for the reply, also.
Yes, the Minix sights suck (like looking at a razor blade thru a piece of landscaping mulch), but I thought it would be a good fanny pack piece. Better than foul language even though it's .22short. He'll also throw in 20 boxes of Rem shorts along with the threaded barrel which I think I can get a good price for.
