Realizing the Luger is not perfect

Hi fellow forum members,

I have been gone a long while getting acquainted with my Luger, which has proven perfect in function and accuracy. But I did pick up a Beretta 9mm Stainless (the M9 our military today uses) and shot that too.
There is no question the Beretta is the better pistol for accuracy and firepower--especially at LONG range. Mine shoots like a rifle, hitting things at 50 and 60 yards as easily as a .22 rifle!
The old warhorse Luger is still a classic and wonderful to shoot and enjoy, but if I needed a no nonsense pistol to save my bacon in most situations I would want the Beretta with its 15 round clip!
Sorry to admit!

John,
There are many choices of weapons to kill people with. You are probably right when comparing a Luger versus Beretta. Lugers are for fun, Beretta's are for business!
