To quote the bard,"Oft have I heard that grief softens the mind, And makes it fearful and degenerate; Think therefore on revenge and cease to weep."

We shall know no peace until these unspeakable theofascist bastards and their perversion masquerading as religion are gone from the earth.

Let us honor our cruelly butchered friends, spouses, sons and daughters by resolving to avenge them totally and completely. We must steel our hearts and deliver certain, sure and inevitable death to all of those who would murder us for our love of liberty.

On December 7, 1941 there was an unpleasant event at Pearl Harbor.

We did something about it.

I hope we have the resolve to do the same in regard to September 11, 2001.

It is a lot easier when you know who the bad guys are. Very difficult fighting guerrillaâ??s and city fighting.

So, I agree with you, but the enemy is a difficult one to pin down...

a few years ago i was taking a course at the u, and was up all night finishing a paper due in the morning. (as it happened, the topic was presidential candidates' position on gun control.)i was watching the news like crazy anticipating a candidate to drop out before my am deadline. instead of the announcment, there came a "special report" from location with dan rather.(? i should go back and check my quote notes on the broadcast if i can find them) he said a holy war had been declared on the united states, and went on to describe the mission and the objective behind the holy war.
my jaw dropped, i was stunned. serious stuff.
the declaration wasn't in the news the next day, or even for several days after. i finally found a short blurb on it about 4 days later in the back pages of a newspaper.
i think rebroadcasting that special report today would be prudent.

Thank God for our President. He has taken the war to the terrorist's turf and at least our people in the middle of it are armed to the teeth. If he (we) hadn't reacted in this way, many more unarmed civilians might have been killed by now with attacks on our turf. I pray the liberals/peaceniks/etc. don't get their way and have us retreat from Iraq & Afganistan. The bad guys would really have a field day then, over there first and back here soon.

There was a great documentary on 9/11 and the President last night on TLC... catch it if you get the chance, I am sure they will be replaying it.

A great quote was revealed (at least to me last night) When President Bush finally reached Secretary Rumsfeld after the morning of 9/11, he told him "...we are going to find out who did this, and when we do, you and our military forces are going to kick their ass."

I shudder to think what our reaction would have been if the other fellow had been victorious in the last presidential election...

Easy. Gore would have just bombed another aspirin factory and declared victory.

As I understand it Gore was once a US Army supply officer (or clerk or whatever). His main mentor more recently was our 'prevaricator in chief'. I don't think there were too many supply depots to bomb or attractive interns to capture. Who knows what he would have attacked in the Iraq or Afgan boonies. Maybe some empty tents that Bill was afraid of.

judging from the info i got doing the research for that paper, both the usa and england would have had to use spitballs to do it. susan
