Can anyone identify this sword??

Hello all.

I was looking for a German sword (officers sabre) to go with my DWM 1915 and found this on Ebay real cheap, it's not what I was looking for but the price was right. I won the action about 2 hours ago and it was only 26 bucks so if it turns out to be worthless I wont loose my shirt. I must apolodize for posting about a sword on the Luger Forum but, every one here has a great amount of knowledge about German history and I thought maybe some one could help ID this sword.

The details:

Has a double edged blade about 24" long
Blade is marked "made in Germany" so I'm thinking it was for export? Also it has a makers mark which is in the shape of a Bears head.

The pommel and cross guard are brass and the pommel has a eagle on it. The cross guard has some form of a cross on it.

This is all I can tell about it until I receive it from the seller.

Any Info. or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, if you like it. It looks like some type of lodge sword. It may even be the Grand High Poobah's kinghting sword! :D
Seriously at $26 you won't get hurt, but good WWI dress swords run in the $150-$250 and higher for the really nice stuff.
